We celebrated Stella's 1st birthday in April. The theme was inspired by non other than Little Miss Strawberry Shortcake. "Vintage" Strawberry Shortcake that is! The one I grew up loving. 
There were all sorts of strawberry inspired sweets! The main dessert (rather than birthday cake) was make-your-own mini strawberry shortcake. It was a hit.

We had a casual meal of grilled burgers and hot dogs.
She was a FAN of her very own birthday cake... to say the least!
Yes... we worked on Stella as the "Y" for a while... but it just wasn't happening! So, this is what her thank you cards ended up looking like! :-)
